Carol Ann Balsamo (Farinha) – Salem, New Hampshire

Carol Ann Balsamo (Farinha) born on July 29, 1947, in Lowell, Massachusetts sadly passed away on November 3, 2023, at the age of 76. She was the daughter of late Anthony and Dolores Farinha. 

She is survived by her loving daughter, Irene Russell and her fiancé James Cahill, her granddaughter Courtney McIntire, and three great-grandchildren. Carol also leaves behind two sisters, Joanne Burns and Norma Farinha, as well as many nieces and nephews. 
 

Carol was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Mario Balsamo, her grandson Jeffrey Miller, her brothers Donald Farinha and Pete Farinha, and her sister Dolores Cook (Farinha). 
 

Carol spent many years with Data Electronics as an engineering clerk before retiring in 2008. 

She was very passionate about donating to local charities: Disabled American Veterans, Fraternal Order Of Police and The Humane Society. Carol also loved traveling; her favorite place to visit was Cape Cod. Above all, her greatest joy in life was spending time with family, friends and her dog China.

A celebration of Carol's life will be held at St. Joseph’s Church, 40 Main Street in Salem New Hampshire 03079 on Monday, November 27th at 10:30am. This gathering will provide an opportunity for family, friends, and loved ones to come together and honor Carol's memory.
