Carl A. Fiacchino – Salem, NH

Carl A. Fiacchino age 83 of Salem, NH passed away peacefully at his home with his family at his side on Saturday January 23, 2021.  He was born on December 27, 1937 in Lawrence, MA the son of the late, Antonio and Mary (Capuchi) Fiacchino.  He was raised and educated in Lawrence and graduated from Lawrence High School Class of 1955.  He also graduated from Merrimack College with a bachelor’s degree in Business.

He had worked at BAE Systems, formerly Saunders in Hudson, NH as a Program Manager for over 28 years.  He retired in 2000.

Carl enjoyed challenging crossword puzzles, especially the daily New York Times Crossword.  He loved spending time at the beach and travelling to the Caribbean.  As a younger man he enjoyed downhill skiing and spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Eva M. (Karniej) Fiacchino of Salem, NH, his daughter, Lisa A. DeVos and husband, Thomas of Hookset, NH and his son, C.J. Fiacchino and wife, Zakia of East Hampstead, NH.  He is also survived by his grandchildren, Zachary T. DeVos, Nicholas A. DeVos and Rocco J. Fiacchino and his great-grandson, Ace Thomas DeVos.  Three nieces and nephews also survive him.

Carl was a beloved family member and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
