Brooke A. (Gionet) Johansen

Brooke A. Johansen (Gionet) passed away on Monday, November 12th, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on October 9, 1978 at Lowell General Hospital, Brooke grew up in Salem, NH. She was a graduate of Salem High School and was formerly employed at Tewksbury State Hospital.

Brooke loved to spend time with friends and family. She enjoyed traveling, the ocean, attending hockey games and going for motorcycle rides with her husband, Eddie. Brooke was very close to her cousins and relished spending time with them at their lake house.

"Brookie" will be sorely missed and will forever live in our hearts.

She is survived by her beloved daughter, Ava Nicole Perkins, of Salem, NH; husband Edward Johansen of Manchester, NH; stepsons Chad and Cole Johansen of Bedford, NH; parents Diana and Thor Gionet of Salem, NH; sister, Ashley Gionet and her partner Jonathan McCoy of Milford, NH; Grandparents, Dorothy and Joseph Remillard of Salem, NH and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Brooke was predeceased by her sister Nicole Rae Gionet.

Brooke loved animals and will be sadly missed by Coco, Tootsie, Motor, and Boston.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, November 15th, 2018 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Goundrey & Dewhirst Funeral Home, 42 Main Street, Salem, NH 03079. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday. November 16th at 10:30 AM in St. Joseph's Church, 40 Main Street, Salem. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery in Salem.
