Bernadette Vigneault Obituary

Bernadette R. (Ferland) Vigneault – Pelham, NH

Bernadette R. Vigneault, 75, passed away January 3rd, 2022 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Nashua, NH, with her children by her side.

Born in Lawrence, MA, she was the daughter of the late, Arthur J. Ferland, and Angele (Lavigne) Ferland. Raised in Lawrence, MA, she attended St. Anne’s school, and later attended MacIntosh Community College. She worked as an administrative assistant for many years and retired from JP Morgan Chase Paymentech as a Chargeback Analyst in 2013.

Bernadette is survived by her husband, Ronald of 44 years, her children, Lisa Swarbrick of Salem, NH, Anthony Gianetti and his wife Jane of Hooksett, NH, Gina Gianetti of NH, Danielle Vigneault and her fiancé Michael Sawicki of Methuen, MA, and stepson Ronald Vigneault Jr. and his wife Diane of Kingman, AZ. She is also survived by her brothers Phillip and his wife Rosemary Ferland, Daniel Ferland and his partner Judi Barker, and Emile Ferland. Her seven grandchildren include Kara and Duane Henrie, Sara and Kieran Altieri, Angela and Matt Kiley, Brandon Beaudoin, Adam Beaudoin, Ross Vigneault, and Nathan Viti. She also found great joy in her 8 great-grandchildren. Bernadette also had several nieces and nephews.

Bernadette was predeceased by her sister Celine Sheridan, and her brother Roland Ferland.

Those that loved her will have fond memories of her laugh, which was quick and contagious and always just under the surface. She’ll be remembered for her unconditional love for her family, and we knew we’d find an attentive audience when we needed one. If all else failed, she was a true believer that “tea and toast” would cure what ails you.

The immense love she had for our family was only matched by her love of animals and her garden. Happiest with her hands in the dirt, a sunny day would always find her outside soaking it up for as long as she could.

Perhaps her most dominant trait is that she didn’t believe it was possible to spoil a child or dog too much. Both knew where to go when in need of a treat, and they were never disappointed. Her loving presence will be missed by so many.
