Barbara Muzzioli Obituary

Barbara Marie (Nadeau) Muzzioli – Billerica, MA

Barbara, 71, passed away peacefully on August 27, 2020 on her birthday.  Barbara was born in Cambridge, MA and was the daughter of the late, Bertha (Poitras) and Chuck Nadeau.  She was also the widow of the late, Paul Muzzioli. She attended the French School of Our Lady of Pity as well as Arlington High School and Bentley College.

She retired from Polaroid Corporation after many years of service where she worked her way from the production line to financial accountant.

Barbara was a longtime resident of Billerica where she raised her daughter Michelle and later married Paul Muzzioli.  At this time Paul’s sons, Keith and Robert joined the family.

She loved spending time in her garden and her yard was a neighborhood oasis filled with so many varieties of flowers.  She also enjoyed her koi pond and a gazebo she built and enjoyed with Paul.  Her special friends from Verbena Road always enjoyed the annual summer horseshoe tournament and shared so much fun and laughter together.

Barbara’s pride and joy were her 4 grandchildren, Nick, Ryan, Alex and Christopher.  She loved them so much and was the best grandmother.  And of course, she loved her fur babies, Sunny, April, Star and Charlee.

She enjoyed her summers in Wells, ME with all her friends at the Ogunquit Farm RV Park.  She would never miss a BINGO night with her neighbors at Nicholas Commons.  They all made her so very happy!!

Thank you so much to the wonderful nurses and caregivers that took care of her over the last year.  There are not enough words to thank the Angels at High Point Hospice House in Haverhill, MA.

Barbara is survived by her daughter, Michelle Holmes and Joe Midolo of Auburn, NH, her Step-Son, Keith Muzzioli and wife Staci of Tiverton, RI, her Step-Son, Robert Muzzioli of North Carolina, her brother, James Nadeau and wife Ann of Woburn, MA.  She is also survived by her grandchildren:  Nick and Alex Muzzioli of Tiverton, RI, Ryan Holmes and wife Cosmina of Grayson, GA, Christopher Holmes of Auburn, NH, her cousin and best friend, Debbie Felicani Corbett and husband, John of Nashua, NH, her cousin, Edward Nadeau of Watertown, MA, her niece, Elizabeth Sankar and Dave of CT, as well as her Nephew, James Nadeau and Emma of Woburn, MA.
