Ashley Danielle Walalis

Ashley Walalis, 27, passed away unexpectedly on July 11th, 2024.

She was born on June 8th, 1997 in Methuen MA. She grew up in Derry, NH where she attended Pinkerton Academy and graduated in 2015. Ashley obtained her BS in Animal and Dairy Sciences at the University of New Hampshire in 2020. She excelled and continued her education at Southern Arkansas University to get her MS in Agricultural Education and Extension in 2023. Ashley was inducted into Phi Sigma Pi National Honor Society and was proud of her academic accomplishments. She worked hard as a Veterinary Assistant and a Feed and Sales consultant.

Ashley loved many things in her short life. She grew up and enjoyed playing the sport of softball for many years. Her time on the field was spent playing pitcher, center, and first base. Ashley enjoyed many other outdoor activities including strolls on the beach with her friends and her best pal Tucker. She loved fishing and hunting, taking down her first deer just this past fall. She was a passionate and loving person, not only towards humans, but to animals of any kind. Ashley had a special place in her heart for those of the four-legged variety. She was living her dream by working with cows and fostering cats.

Ashley is survived by her mother Sylvie Morin, and her two sisters Samantha Walalis and Felicia Walalis. She is also survived by grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and many more. Ashley now joins her father, Alfred ‘Al’ Walalis, and her Uncle, Tony Morin, and great-grandmother, Kathryn Latourelle. Her family, friends, and everyone who knew her will miss her dearly.

Family and friends are invited to calling hours on Friday July 26, 2024 from 5 pm to 7:30 pm at the Goundrey Dewhirst Funeral Home ,42 Main Street Salem, NH. Funeral services will follow the calling hours at 7:30 pm on Friday at the funeral home.
