Arthur M. Reynolds

Arthur M. Reynolds, Sr, 89 of Salem NH passed away at home on Monday February 1, 2021. Arthur was born in Lebanon, NH on September 9, 1931. Predeceased by his parents Jesse and Mildred Reynolds, Arthur was the loving husband to Dorothy (Gonet) Reynolds of Salem, NH and they had just celebrated their 65th Anniversary.  

Together they had two children, Arthur Reynolds, Jr. and his wife Sandra of Chester, NH and Bonnie Fitzgerald and her husband Kevin of Salem, NH. and a foster daughter Joy Jameson of Lebanon, Maine. He was predeceased by his granddaughter Jacquelyn Owen and leaves his granddaughters, Dorothy Tardif and her husband Keith of Salem, NH, Gabrielle Reynolds and her Fiance Eric Herland of Hudson, NH, four great-gandchildren, Alexandre & Sophia Tardif and Kaliana and Kyra Herland.  He was predeceased by his brother Albert Reynolds and leaves his brother Norman “Pete” Reynolds of Londonderry, NH and his godson Lance Reynolds of Londonderry, NH and many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and nieces and nephews.

Arthur Served in the United States Army and was a volunteer firefighter in Salem, NH back in the 1950's. He then worked at Sears for 38 years in Lawrence, Methuen, North Andover and Manchester NH where he was a Supervisor of delivery terminal operations retiring after 38 years. Arthur loved camping. After retiring, he went on to work for Mass DCR at Salisbury Beach State Reservation. He was also a host camper at the campground. Most recently, he worked for Auto Parts International in Windham, NH for 20 plus years delivering auto parts in Salem, NH and surrounding towns.

Family and friends are invited to visiting hours on Sunday February 7, 2021 from 2 pm to 4 pm at the Goundrey & Dewhirst Funeral Home, 42 Main St., Salem, NH.
