Caring father, husband, and son. Alan was an exceptional U.S. Navy sailor for over nine years. He received many medals including the Navy Achievement Medal for outstanding performance as Maintenance Department Sailor of the Year while on the USS NIMITZ (CVN68) in 1990.
Friend and mentor to many, Alan was always ready to give a helping hand to family, friends, neighbors, and coworkers at MIT Lincoln Lab located on Hanscom Air Force Base in Lexington, Massachusetts. He is survived by his mother Maria L.; brothers Anthony A. and Patrick J.; his wife of 32 years, Cynthia I.; father of Danielle M. Langlois, Samantha N. Chase, and Ian M. O’Dea; and grandfather of Melody L. Chase.
We cordially invite you to share services at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel located at 290 Main Street, Salem, New Hampshire, and interment at 2:00 P.M. at Boscawen Veterans Cemetery, located at 110 Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen, New Hampshire.
