William F. Young

William F. Young, 89 of Hampstead, New Hampshire passed away on Monday September 30, 2019 at High Pointe Hospice House in Haverhill, Massachusetts.  Mr. Young was born and raised in Somerville; and raised his family in Everett before moving to Hampstead upon retirement. Bill served with The US Army during the Korean War and  he worked as a driver and clerk with The US Postal Service. He enjoyed watching  The New England Patriots and loved working around his home and doing many projects; but he especially loved being with his wife, children and family.

He is survived by his wife, the love of his life, Eleanor “Ella” B. ( Ferratusco) Young and his sons, Dana W. Young and his wife Karen Young of Middleton, MA. and Keith W. Young and his wife Mirian Young of Everett, MA and her children Juan and Salome. Bill also leaves his beloved grandson Cory Young and his great grandchildren, Dominic and Adriana and many loving nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his granddaughter Tayli Ann Young, his mother Emma Marie (Armstrong) Young, his brother James Mcguiness and his sister Theadora (Young) Payser.

Family and friends are invited to visiting hours on Sunday October 6, 2019 from 2pm to 5pm at the Goundrey & Dewhirst Funeral Home, 42 Main Street, Salem, NH. Funeral services will be on Monday October 7 at 10:00 am at the funeral home.
