Steven R. Dunn

Steven R. Dunn passed away on Friday, April 13th at his home at 40 Lawrence Street, Lawrence, MA.  Born on January 28, 1967 at Bon Secours Hospital in Methuen, Steve lived his entire life in the Merrimack Valley.  He enjoyed spending time around the Merrimack River, and especially liked to fish. 

Steven was a graduate of the Haverhill Alternative High School and had formerly been employed in manufacturing at Merrimack Paperboard and Columbo Yogurt, where he had once saved a co-worker’s life.  Steve faced many challenges and struggles in his life, but will be remembered for his courage, quick wit, kindness and infectious smile.  He will always be missed and will be forever in our hearts.

He is survived by his beloved daughter, Taryn E. Higgins of Hampton, NH; sister, Beverly J. (Dunn) Donovan and her husband, Timothy E. Donovan, Jr; brother Michael S. Dunn and his wife, Elizabeth A. Dunn; nephews and nieces Michael Donovan, Amy Donovan, Megan Dunn, Colin Dunn and Haley Dunn and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.  He was the loving son of R. James and Nancy (Skeffington) Dunn, both now deceased.

Family and friends are invited to The American Legion Hall at 200 Broadway in Methuen on Friday, April 27th from 4-6 pm for a celebration of Steve’s life.   Cremation will be handled by the Goundrey & Dewhirst Funeral Home, Salem, NH.
