Paul J. Ring, 88, of Andover, MA passed away peacefully  on Thursday, August 3, 2017.  
Paul attended St. Gregory's Elementary School, BC High School, Boston College, Renssellaer Polytechnic Institute, and Brown University, where he received hid PH.D degree in Physics. He was a Professor of Physics at the University of Lowell for many years.  He also did consulting at Kennecott Copper Co. in Lexington.   
He leaves his wife, Mary, and four children, Kathleen Winsor, Julieanne Ring , Thomas Ring  and Elizabeth Zuckerberg.  He also leaves four grand-children, and his brother, David Ring, of Quincy, MA.
Paul was a devoted husband, father and grand-father.  He gave his all to his family and work. He will be sorely missed. 

Funeral arrangements are in process, and will be sent to all family and friends when settled.
