Michael Bryson Jr., 54, of Weare, NH., passed away on Saturday, August 17, 2019. He was born on July 15, 1965 in Methuen, MA to Michael Bryson Sr. and Madeline (Kaelin) Bryson.
He was a graduate of the Greater Lawrence Vocational Technical High School and had worked for the past 30 years for Philips Healthcare, most recently as a senior training specialist. Mike loved all Boston sports teams, his favorite being the Boston Red Sox. When not watching sports or ESPN, Mike enjoyed going to sporting events, spending time with family and friends, golfing and watching his favorite TV shows especially the Sopranos which he would frequently quote. Mike will also be missed by his beloved dog Brodie and cat Reese who always enjoyed being by his side. Above everything else, he loved and cherished his one and only daughter Corinne with whom he had an unbreakable bond that was admired by all. Mike was a kindhearted man who will be missed by all who had the honor of knowing him.
In addition to his parents Michael and Madeline Bryson of Windham, he is survived by his daughter Corinne Bryson and boyfriend Mathew Gendron of Weare, NH. three siblings; Maureen (Bryson) Bertholic and husband Joseph of Mapleville, RI, Robert Bryson of Windham, NH., and Amy (Bryson) Melvin and husband Tom of North Andover, MA. Nieces Erica, Ashley and Katie Bertholic and nephew Joey Bertholic all of Rhode Island. He is predeceased by his grandparents Martin and Lorraine Kaelin and Robert and Laurette Bryson and sister in law Tina (Sousa) Bryson.
Friends may call on Thursday, August 22, 2019 at the Goundrey & Dewhirst Funeral Home, 42 Main St., Salem, NH from 3 to 6 PM. A service of remembrance will begin at 6 PM followed by a gathering of food and fellowship at the Irish Cottage, 17 Branch St. Methuen, MA. To help celebrate Mike's love of sports, those in attendance are encouraged by the family to wear their favorite Boston sports jersey or shirt.
