Louis A. Levesque, Sr.

Louis A. Levesque Sr., 83 of Salem, NH passed away in peace on Monday, February 4, 2019. His family and a fabulous team of health care professionals at Salem Haven Nursing Home surrounded Louis during his passing.

Louis was born to the late Leo and Alice Bishop Leveque on January 9, 1936 in Dover, NH. He was predeceased by his wife Mary C. (Robichaud) Levesque in 2008. Louis served in the United States Army in Korea from 1955 and was honorably discharged in 1958. He was a hard working man who liked to stay busy and continued to work long into his retirement years. He loved to watch football and baseball. He was an avid Star Wars fan and would spend hours assembling Star Wars Lego’s.

He is survived by his 4 loving children, Lorrain Hargreaves and her husband Patrick of Salem, NH, his son Brian Levesque and wife Sheri of Derry, NH, his son Mark Levesque and his wife Michele of Hudson, NH, and his daughter Christine Dugas and husband Eric of Derry, NH; 8 grandchildren Christopher, Lisa, Brian, Alisha, Brandon, Brianna, Nicole, and Jonathan and 2 great-grandchildren Aiden and Evan. 3 steps sons, Michael Robichaud, Joseph Robichaud and Scot Robichaud and their families, also survive him.

There will be no services; Arrangements are in the care of Goundrey & Dewhirst Funeral Home, 42 Main Street Salem, NH 03079. Private family memorial service and burial will be held in the spring at the NH Veteran Cemetery in Boscawen, NH.
