Joseph Remillard Obituary

Joseph (Ronald) Remillard, loving and devoted husband of Dorothy (Laroche), was surrounded by his family when he passed away peacefully at home on January 17, 2020.

Born in Lawrence, MA on November 20th, 1927, he was the son of the late Arthur & Mary (Lambert). Ronnie grew up in Lawrence, MA and later moved to Methuen, MA where he raised his family. He moved to Salem, NH in 2014, where he enjoyed many outdoor activities such as gardening and bird watching.

He proudly served in the US Army during WWII and The Korean War and was later a truck driver for over 35 years for Radio Foods, Liquid Carbonics and Merrimack Valley Liquors. He enjoyed traveling, golf, playing cards, and investing in the Stock Market. Above all, Ronnie enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and loved sneaking treats to both kids and animals.  If there was a baby around, he was certain to be holding them and it was impossible to wipe the smile off his face.

He had a strong faith and he was a dedicated member of St Joseph's Church in Salem, NH. He will be remembered as a kind and generous husband, brother, father, uncle, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend and will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him.

Ronnie was predeceased in death by his siblings, Leger Remillard, Joseph “Bob” Remillard, John Remillard, Richard Remillard, Raymond Remillard, Lorraine Berube, and Marcelle Peterof as well as his granddaughters Nicole Gionet and Brooke Johansen.

He is survived by his children Diana and her husband of Thor Gionet of Salem NH, Linda Provencal of Hampstead NH, Ann Marie and her husband Charles Beaudoin of Methuen, MA as well as his grandchildren Sherry Levesque and her husband Mark, Michelle Agostinelli and her husband Bruce, Tracy Hausler and her husband Jeffery, Tarra Johnson and her partner Jasen M.
