James W. Fecteau, husband of Christine V. (Kelly) Fecteau, passed away peacefully on October 5, 2017 at home with his loving family at his side.

Born in Providence, R.I., Jim was the son of the late Thomas C. and Catherine A. (Short) Fecteau.  Raised in Cranston, R.I., he was a graduate of Bishop Hendricken High School and Bryant College (now Bryant University). Jim’s career span of 50 years included positions from Analyst to Director in the field of Information Technology, and general contracting. In retirement, he enjoyed working part-time for Lowe’s.

In addition to his wife, Christine, of 50 years, he is survived by their four children: his daughters Kerry M. and her husband Kevin F. Kentley; Christine K. and her husband David J. Kogut; Michelle K. and her husband Heath E. Klock; and his son Michael T. and his wife Amanda J. Fecteau. He is also survived by his four grandchildren: Kate A. Kogut, Johnathon D. Kogut, Cassidy C. Klock, and Samantha J.Klock. In addition, he is survived by his brother David A. Fecteau, his sisters Christine M. Miller and Jane M. Ryan, and their families.  He was the brother of the late Thomas B. Fecteau, Sr.

Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Sunday, October 8 from 4-7 pm at the Goundrey and Dewhirst Funeral Home, 42 Main Street, Salem, NH.
