Gerard "Jerry" Bibeau Obituary

Peacefully with his family by his bedside, Gerard passed away January 24th, 2019 at High Pointe House in Haverhill, MA.  Born in Lawrence, MA, he was the son of Wilfred and Lillian (Dragon) Bibeau. He was predeceased by his sister Pauline (Mrs. Raymond Michaud) and brother Robert.  Gerard is survived by his wife of 59 years, Mary (McIsaac) Bibeau, his four children, Elaine (Mrs. Matthew Lyons), Donna (Mrs. Kyle Shea), Gail (Mrs. Michael Marchelletta), and Mark and his wife Deborah.  He was a proud
Pepere to his ten grandchildren, Danielle, Tyler, Nichole, Brendan, David, Caitlyn, Connor, Emily, Mike and Kyle, and his cherished great-grandchildren, Nathan, Colton, Makaela, Maddison, Nora and Avery.

He was a graduate of Sacred Heart grammar school, Central Catholic high school and Baylor University. He served for several years in the United States Navy and was honorably discharged.  Gerard retired from Raytheon Companies where he was employed as a missile inspector for the US government defense department. He was a devoted Boston sports fan, enjoyed playing golf, summer vacations on beautiful Cape Breton Island in Nova Scotia visiting relatives and friends and spending time near the ocean.  But most of all, he enjoyed family gatherings and a good game of 45’s.  Gerard was a faithful communicant of St. Mary and Josephs parish and served on several committees to support the parish.
