Geraldine M. (Bohne) Jones, 88, of Salem, NH passed away March 22, 2017 at the Harris Hill Center in Concord, NH.
 
Gerry was born in Lawrence, MA on March 8, 1929 to Gustave A. and Clara (Ditner) Bohne. She graduated from Edward Searles High School. She worked as a mender in the Lawrence Mills, as a waitress at the Green Barn Restaurant in Salem, NH, and while married, worked in the office at Dick Jones Trucking & Excavating as a bookkeeper. She was also involved in the Salem Chapter 57, Order of the Eastern Star, and served as a crossing guard for the Salem Police Department.
 
Gerry lived most of her life in Salem, NH raising her four daughters. She loved the water and going to the family camp at Rock Pond. She enjoyed picking blueberries, playing cards, watching NASCAR racing, and camping. Gerry was always ready for an adventure. She enjoyed many hobbies including ceramics, cross stitch and knitting beautiful sweaters for her family.  She was known for her famous potato salad and spaghetti dinners.
 
Gerry leaves her daughters: Marsha Siegel of Andover, Brenda Busch and her husband, Phil of Deerfield, Paula Anderson of Salem, and Karla Jones and her husband, André Olivier of New Boston.  She is also survived by two grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and her brother, William Bohne of Salem. She is predeceased by her parents and her former husband, Richard H. Jones.
 
Family and friends are invited to calling hours on Monday, March 27, 2017, from 4 PM to 7 PM in the chapel at the Goundrey & Dewhirst Funeral home, 42 Main Street, Salem NH 03079. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at 11:30 AM at the funeral home.
