Doris T. Bluemel

Doris T. Bluemel of Salem, NH, passed away on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at Aurora Nursing Home in Derry, NH. surrounded by her family.

Doris worked at the Greater Lawrence Regional Vocational High School as an art teacher before her retirement. She was an accomplished artist who loved to paint, as seen by her many awards. She was also a member of the Salem Art Association.

She leaves behind her children, William CJ Bluemel, Jr. and his wife Judith, Kevin R. Bluemel and his wife Susan, Pamela A. Carney and her husband Stephen, Leslie J. Blake and her husband Paul, and Gary S. Bluemel and his wife Elizabeth, and her longtime companion who was loving and caring for many years, Austin “Bud” Shannon, who we will be eternally grateful for. She also leaves ten grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.

Doris was predeceased by her husband, William CJ Bluemel and her grandson, Jared W. Blake.
