David Francis Aubin, Sr., 66, of Salem, NH, died in the loving arms of his loving and devoted wife on Thursday March 1, 2018 at Holy Family Hospital, from complications of Parkinson’s Disease surrounded by his loving family.
He was born July 8, 1951 in Methuen, Massachusetts, son of the late Cecile and Laurence Aubin. He was a graduate of Lawrence High and Southern NH University.
He served in the Army and was honorably discharged in 1977. He was a supervisor for Shaws distribution center and was respected by both the union and management for his ability to balance their conflicting agendas.
He was married to the love of his life, Linda Ann DelleChiaie, for over 46 years. Together they raised 4 extraordinarily wonderful children. He will be sadly missed by his sons, David and partner Hope Christie of Pelham, NH, Jason and wife Anita of Westford, MA, Christopher and wife Tara of Fremont, NH and his daughter Elizabeth and husband Brett Ferguson of Windham, NH and his loving mother in law Dorothy DelleChiaie of Salem, NH.
He is loved by his nine grandchildren, Tyler, Ryan, Jillian, Sabrina, Alicia, Sophia, Hailey, Sawyer and baby Sadie. He will also be missed by his sister Judy and husband Robert Gurka, the best 45s partner ever. He met his best friend Joe Bruno while stationed in Germany. They have been best friends ever since. The two of them along with their wives Karen and Linda shared many happy memories together. He is also survived by his sisters Marilyn Grasso, Irene Engelman, and his brother Larry Aubin.
Service will be held at First Congregational Church of Pelham, 3 Main Street, Pelham, NH, on Friday March, 9th at 11:00. A mercy meal will follow afterwards in the fellowship hall.
