Bertrand Moreau, 75 of Salem, NH passed away on Friday August 25, 2017 at his home with his family at his side.  Mr. Moreau was born and raised in Notre Dame du lac, Quebec, Canada.  He met and married his wife of 56 years, Marcelle (Belanger) Moreau and moved to the United States in 1962.  He was a member of Boston Carpenters Local 33 for 45 years and finished his career with New England Finish Systems of Salem, NH.  He enjoyed music, camping, his cars and spending time with his family.  For 17 years, he spent his retirement and winters in Zephyrhills, Florida with his wife.  In 1995, he became a US Citizen. 

Besides his loving wife, Marcelle, his family members include his three sons, Sylvain and his wife, Heidi, Steven and Francis.  He also leaves his two daughters, Cindy and her husband, Brian and Melissa and her husband, John all of Salem, NH.  He also leaves his 12 grandchildren, Christina, Amanda, Craig, Julie, Matthew, Ashley, Shawn, Derek, Justin, Joel, Blake and Zoey and 5 great grandchildren, Gabriella, Hunter, Dominic, Ella and Ryleigh. He was predeceased by his daughter-in-law, Cindy Moreau.

Family and friends are invited to visiting hours on Monday August 28, 2017 from 4pm to 8pm at The Goundrey & Dewhirst Funeral Home, 42 Main Street, Salem, NH.  A Funeral Mass will be on Tuesday August 29 at 10:30 am in St. Joseph Church, 40 Main Street, Salem, NH.
