Paul Duprez Obituary

Paul F. Duprez, 83, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on March 4, 2024 at High Pointe House Hospice in Haverhill, MA.

Paul was the son of the late Edward A. Duprez, Sr. and the late Helen (Driscoll) Duprez. He was born, raised and educated in Waltham, MA, later settling in Burlington, MA where he and his wife raised their family and resided for 40 years before retiring to Salem, NH.

He was a dedicated and loving husband to his wife, Vickey (Cloukey) Duprez, with whom he shared almost 60 years of marriage, 4 children, 11 grandchildren and 2 step-grandchildren.

Paul was a successful salesman for over 40+ years. He worked as a regional salesman for Eastco Floor Covering, was a former owner of Carriage House Carpets in Danvers, MA, and a Vice President for Contract Sales in Needham, MA.

Paul was an ardent antique scale collector, having hundreds of scales proudly displayed not only in his own house but also within his children’s and grandchildren’s houses. He enjoyed racquetball, skiing, traveling, playing cribbage with family and friends, and being an honorary member of the Polish Club in Danvers, MA.

For many years Paul and his family enjoyed camping at Sebago Basin in Maine, their yearly vacations at Hampton Beach and Shawnee Peak with relatives but his most treasured moments  were entertaining family and friends at their house at Loon Mountain.

Above all else, Paul’s biggest passion in life was his family. He could never spend enough time with his children and grandchildren and was always thinking of ways to make ordinary moments into extra special ones.

Paul is survived and remembered by his wife; his daughters Michaeline Duprez of Nashua, NH and Kristen Amero and her husband Erick of New Hampton, NH; his sons Timothy Duprez and his wife Denise and Kurt Duprez and his wife Kerry, all of Billerica, MA. He will always be fondly remembered and adored as Pepe and Pep by his grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Ryan and Alexa Mello; Christian, Olivia, Justin, Luke, Dominic and Mahre Duprez; Cayden and Sam Amero; and 2 step-grandchildren Jaidyn and Olivia Kreamer.  He is also survived by a brother Ted Duprez and his wife Cathy of Shrewsbury, MA; a sister Cheryl Monahan and her husband Peter of Waltham, MA and his sisters-in-law, Brenda Cloukey of Hudson, FL and Peggy Hood of York, ME.
