Born on May 20, 1944 in Allentown, PA, Gary was the son of the late Alfred and Mary Egge and brother of the late Joan Egge.

Following his service in the military, he was employed at Osram Sylvania for over 30 years and retired as Director of Labor Relations.
Gary, a loving and very proud father, is survived by his son Bryan Egge and daughter-in-law Lauren Freedman of Boston, MA. He was also a doting ‘’dog dad’’ to the late Wiley and his surviving pup, Josie, both doodle mixes.
A Corvette enthusiast, Gary was the owner of a 1986 Corvette and much to Bryan’s dismay, Gary sold it before Bryan was legal to drive. Gary enjoyed watching sports games as a devoted Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies fan and loved spending time fishing at Lake Sunapee and golfing with Bryan.
