Theresa "Terry" (Dupras) Thorne of Sandown, NH formerly of Columbus, NC and Hollis N.H died peacefully on Friday, October 13th, 2017 at Parkland Memorial Hospital.  Terry was born June 7th, 1929 in Lowell, MA, daughter of the late Wilfred and Bertha (Bellemare) Dupras. She attended St. Louis Grammar School, Lowell High School and went onto Lowell Technological Institute.  In 1955 she married the love of her life, the late Larry E. Thorne of Darrington, WA whom she met when he was stationed in Ft. Devens, MA.  She spent several years traveling abroad with her husband from one station to the next until he retired from the United States Army and settled in Hollis, NH.  She worked for Nashua Federal Savings Bank and Digital Equipment Corporation until 1989 when she and her husband retired to Columbus, NC.  Terry moved back to her New England roots in 2007 and settled in Sandown, NH.  She was a member of Saint Anne's Parish in Hampstead, NH where she volunteered in many different capacities.  She is survived by her son, Brian Alan Thorne and his wife, Clorinda M. Thorne of Salem, NH.  At Terry's request there will be no calling hours.  A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, October 21st 2017 at 1 o’clock in the afternoon at St. Joseph Church 40 Main Street, Salem NH. A private burial will be in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA at a later date.   Donations in Terry's name can be made to Silverthorne Adult Day Care Center, 23 Geremonty Dr. Salem, NH 03079.
