Shirley Violette, 80, of Salem, NH and formerly of Nashua, NH and Methuen, MA, passed away suddenly on November 16th, 2016, at her home.  Shirley was born in Lawrence, MA, on November 2nd, 1936.

Shirley graduated from St. Ann's High School in Lawrence, MA, as well as St. Joseph's Hospital School of Nursing in Nashua, NH.  She worked as an R.N. at St. Joseph's in Nashua, NH, and Bon Secours Hospital in Methuen.  Shirley retired several years ago.

Shirley was pre-deceased by her parents, Joseph Violette and Albertine (Baron) Violette, and her brother, Richard Violette.  She leaves her sisters, Irene Petit of Hudson Falls, NY, and Rita Lippe of Deltona, FL; and a sister-in-law Beatrice (McKenzie) Violette of Boynton Beach, FL.  She also leaves many nieces and nephews.

Shirley's funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, November 23rd, 2016, at St. Joseph's Church in Salem, NH, at 11:00AM.  Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery in Methuen, MA, at a later date.
