Shirley M. Armstrong, 88, of Londonderry, NH and a longtime resident of Windham, NH passed away on Wednesday May 13, 2015 at her home.  Mrs. Armstrong was born in Lawrence, MA. and lived in Windham for many years and most recently lived in Londonderry.  She was a member of Windham Presbyterian Church and she and her husband owned and operated Armstrong Construction and Logos Book Stores of Salem and Nashua, NH.  Shirley was an active volunteer with Girl Scouts, prison ministry and The Shepherds Food Pantry.

The widow of Robert G. Armstrong, her family members include her children, David R. and his wife Deanna Jan Armstrong of E. Derry, NH and twins, Ralph E. and his wife Janet Armstrong of Londonderry, NH and Joan E. and her husband, Richard Shelton of Peterborough, NH. She also leaves 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Sunday May 17, 2015 from 4 to 7 PM at The Goundrey & Dewhirst Funeral Home, 42 Main St., Salem, NH.  Funeral services will be on Monday May 18 at 10:00AM in Orchard Christian Fellowship Church, 136 Pillsbury Rd., Londonderry, NH, 03053.  Burial will be in Cemetery on The Hill, Windham, NH.
