Sandra K. Jones, 57 of Salem, NH passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on Monday July 3, 2017. Sandy was born and raised in Martins Ferry, Ohio. She graduated from Martins Ferry High School and was active in the band as a majorette. She married Jeff Jones her high school sweetheart in 1981 and spent the next 36 years supporting her soulmate as they made a life together. She loved being a mother and raised their four children never missing a sporting or dance event. To her children she was a devoted mother who was kind, gentle, patient and witty. Sandy taught them to treat all people with dignity and respect; encouraging them to reach for the stars while pursuing their goals and dreams. A great day for her was spending time with her family dancing, playing games or just sitting and talking. Sandy was an accomplished poet who would send daily encouragements to her family. She also shared these talents with members of the Pleasant Street Methodist Church and distributed monthly homemade cards to the shut-ins. She was active in the Church where she taught Sunday school for a number of years. Her family members include her mother, Eleanor Sindeldecker of Powell, OH;  her husband, Jeff Jones of Salem, NH and her children, Jason Jones and his wife, Ashleigh of North Andover, MA; Jeremy Jones of Salem, NH; Amanda Jones,of Salem, NH; Joshua Jones and his fiancé, Dominique,of Hookset, NH. She also leaves her grandchildren, Charles Jeffrey (CJ) and Ella Grace as well as her siblings, Charlie Sindeldecker and his wife, Bridgette of Powell, OH; Karen Chambers and her husband, Rick of Delaware, OH and her nephews, Chad, Justin and Lars. She was predeceased by her father, Charles Sindeldecker of Martins Ferry, OH.

There are no calling hours. A private burial service will be in Pine Grove Cemetery  Salem, NH. All family and friends are invited to join in “A Celebration of Life” scheduled for 11am Thursday, July 13, 2017 at the Pleasant Street United Methodist Church, 8 Pleasant Street, Salem, NH. Pastor Nori Vedan Leachon will officiate the ceremonies.
