Sadie F. Milos, 97 a longtime resident of Salem, NH peacefully passed away on Thursday December 29, 2016. Mrs. Milos was born and raised in Lawrence and has lived in N. Salem for over 50 years.  She worked as a stitcher for 28 years at Andover Tire Company, Lawrence.  Sadie was infamously known for Sadie’s Cakes creating beautiful wedding, shower and celebration cakes for many families in the Salem, NH area.  She was proud of her Polish heritage with both parents being descendants of Poland. She loved cooking, baking, sewing, crafting and appreciated the outdoors with her husband. For every person who met her, she left a special mark in their hearts and a smile on their face.  Sadie was known to bring cake treats to the fire department, invite service folks into her home for home cooked food or to share a favorite dish with someone who mentioned they liked it.   

The widow of Thaddeus W. Milos, Sr., her family members include her daughter, Charlotte F. Chamberlain and her grandchildren, Lisa Chamberlain, Michael Milos, Lori Dubois and Thomas Milos as well as 7 great grandchildren. Sadie also leaves her sisters, Theresa Trebino and Mary Michaud and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Thaddeus Milos, Jr. and her siblings.

Family and friends are invited to visiting hours on Thursday January 5, 2016 from 9 to 11 am at The Goundrey & Dewhirst Funeral Home, 42 Main Street, Salem, NH. Funeral services will be at 11:00am on Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Salem.
