I remember one Sunday morning after the rush and a guy came in asking for pancakes. Mostly I was there to help (Thursdays to precook the onion rings for the fish fry on Friday nights)..Bob was cat napping and woke just as I was just finishing making the pancakes. He looked out the window from the kitchen and said the middle were still a little 'undone'... The guy did come back, but Bob cooked them that week. Many great laughs with him.
