Robert L. Christianson born in Revere, MA on February 13, 1930 was the son of Loftus Linwood Christianson and Mildred (Walsh) Christianson. Bob passed away Friday, December 16 peacefully at Blaire House, Tewksbury, MA after a short illness.

He served in the U.S. Marines with a tour in Japan during the Korean War. Bob worked in construction, Local 4 as a Crane Operator and owned and operated 3 restaurant businesses in the area. He was also the H.S. Maintenance Supervisor for the Salem School Department until he retired. He was a member of the V.F.W. in Salem as well as the Derry-Salem Elks Lodge where he was a former Exalted Ruler #8.

He was the father of Robbie Christianson (deceased), Kerry Christianson of Derry, NH, Jamie Christianson of Phoenix, AZ, Deane Christianson of Derry NH. Brother of Lawrence Christianson, Billerica, MA (deceased), Mildred (Christianson) Tobey of Melrose, MA as well as nieces, nephews, and many cousins. Close friend of Rosemary Hermans.

Burial Mass from St. Joseph's on Thursday, December 21, 2017 at 12:00 PM with visiting hours from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Goundrey & Dewhirst Funeral Home 42 Main St., Salem, NH 03079.
