Robert Thomas Barrett, who was born November 6, 1937, suddenly passed away on December 16th 2017. He lived in Hampstead, New Hampshire in his retired years. He grew up in Wilmington, Mass. He is the son of Elanor and Walter Barrett. He was survived by his wonderful wife of 57 years, Gisele (Ouellette) Barrett of Edmundston NB. He also left behind Sherie (Barrett) Pepin, her husband Tom and 3 children Kyle, Mark and Sean. Michele (Barrett) Fay, her husband Robert and two children Ashley and Bryan. Danielle (Barrett) Carlson, her husband Kristofer and son Nathan. 

Robert served in the United States Air Force from 1956 to 1960. He had owned his own business Reading Carpet for a number of years. He worked at TRW as a machinist for 18 years. He retired at 58 years of age. 

He very much enjoyed spending time with the Goulet and Ouellette families of Canada during family visits. His hobbies included following the New England Sports teams, cards, happy hour, softball, bowling, golf, surf fishing, and sending the winter months in Bradenton Florida.
