It's hard to believe it's been 6 years without you today. I remember that day with so much detail. The call I got telling me to come see you. Holding your hand and squeezing it to let you know I was there. I remember looking at Aimee right after you passed and the song that came on letting us know you were still with us. I still believe it was your sign to us that you were ok and that you will always be with us. I love you so much and am thankful for all the time we had with you. I love you Grandpa.

Another Christmas missing you Grandpa. I miss your inquisitive manner, your playfulness, and your support. Mostly I miss how loved I felt especially when you gave your tight hugs. It’s been long enough now where I can feel sad missing you yet smile because you have left me with the best memories. The impact you have on my life even now if immeasurable. I hope I make you proud. I love you.

I love you and miss you so much grandpa. I know you are looking over all of us each every day. You would be so proud of each of your great grandchildren. They are all amazing with their own little personalities and growing so quickly. I see glimmers of you and grandma in each of them. Jacob even points his finger the same way you used too and it makes me laugh. My dad points it out all the time. When I hug them I think of you and tell them to give a little squeeze because thats how you hug. The kids all talk about you from time to time. This year on your birthday Wyatt wore your hat in memory of you. I hope you saw how proud he was to be wearing your hat. I miss you tons and want you to know that I am thankful that I had so much time with you and grandma. Mom still misses you alot and we talk about you often. Give grandma a hug for me. Xo.

We were sad to read of your father's passing. We know how much he was loved and was a key part of your families. It was always a pleasure talking with him as we frequently met in town. He always provided us with a reason to smile. Our condolences are with you during this period of sorrow.
