James F. Doucette, 90, of Salem, NH, passed away on April 22, 2015, at the Holy Family Hospital, Methuen. James was born in Wakefield, MA, on July 16, 1924 to the late Raymond and Alice Doucette. He has been a resident of Salem, NH, for the past 20 years. 

For many years, James worked in the construction industry as a truck driver. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing. 

James leaves his wife of 68 years, Edith M. (Hurlbert) of Salem, NH; his daughters, Carol A. Sheppard and her husband Tom of Salem, NH, Debbie L. Wright of Salem, NH, and Janine Sullivan of Revere, MA. He also leaves 7 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. 

James was predeceased by his daughter, Judith Young.
