Eleanor Rodgers Finn passed away peacefully on December 16, 2016 at Greystone Farms, Salem NH after 90 wonderful and entertaining years. Eleanor was born in Lowell, MA to Alfred Rodgers and Winnifred (Reilly) Rodgers on May 21 1926. She graduated from Simmons College (MA) with a business degree and Rivier College (NH) with her master’s degree. She married Raymond Thomas Finn from Lowell, MA in 1951. Eleanor and Ray purchased and operated Woburn Foreign Motors until 1985. They travelled widely in Europe, Asia and the US. Eleanor was an avid tennis player and skier, sincerely believing her game continued to improve into her 80's. She loved to play bridge and cribbage and she was fiercely competitive in all things including games with her grandchildren. She never threw a game. Her home on Lake Winnipesaukee where she summered with her children and later her grandchildren was her special place. She loved playing with her 9 grandchildren as she never lost her own inner child. After Ray’s passing, Eleanor again found love. She and Jack Hansbury were inseparable for many years. They travelled widely, most often to grandchildren's sporting events. Eleanor is survived by daughters Martha Wilson of Richmond, KY, Susan Finn of Haverhill,MA , Elizabeth and Steven Burdeau  of Laconia NH and son Dr. R. Thomas and Ellen Finn of Laconia,NH.
