Elaine D. Montecalvo, 64, formerly of Lawrence Mass. passed away on September 17th after a strong and courageous battle with Cancer.  Elaine was born and raised in Chelsea Massachusetts.  She leaves her loving, caring husband of 45 years, Mike Montecalvo Jr.  Together they moved to Lawrence Massachusetts where they raised their two children, Michael Montecalvo III and Melyssa Montecalvo Flaherty.  Elaine was a devoted wife, mother, sister, and  grandmother who would open her heart for all.  She loved to cook and spend time with friends and family.  She worked as an accountant for Gould Modicon in Andover Massachusetts where she was friends with many.  Mike and Elaine retired and eventually moved to Salem N.H. where they enjoyed taking trips to the beach and spending loads of time with their three grandchildren, Zachary, Samantha, and Jovanna. Elaine also leaves behind her brother, Clayton Crowley, her brother Edward Hennessey, her niece Erica Cooper Kling, her nephew Edward Hennessey Jr., her son in law Chris Flaherty and her daughter in law Wendy Bowen Montecalvo.  Elaine is reunited with her mother, Caroline (Rugglio) Hennessey,  her  brother, Douglas Crowley, her sister, Merry Cooper, her sister Valerie Clark, and her nephew Quentin James Jackson.

Calling hours will be on Wednesday September 23, 2015 from 5 to 8 PM at The Goundrey & Dewhirst Funeral Home, 42 Main St., Salem, NH.  A Funeral Mass will be on Thursday September 24 at 10:30 AM in St. Joseph’s Church, Salem, NH.
