David H. Raymond, 76, formerly of Salem, NH, Lawrence and Londonderry, NH entered eternal life on Sunday April 10, 2016 at Hackett Hill Nursing Home, Hooksett, NH.  Mr. Raymond was born in Lawrence the son of the late, Leo Raymond and Clara Brunell.  He was raised in Salem, NH where he spent most of his young and adult life.  He later moved to Lawrence where he and his former wife raised their children.  David served with The US Army and worked with Converse Rubber Co. until the company moved out of the area.

His family members include his beloved children, Alfio and Joseph Raymond of Lawrence.  He also leaves his daughter, Barbara and her husband, Dan Bell of Chapel Hill, NC. and also leaves  his former wife, Santina “Sally” Nicolosi Raymond of Lawrence. He leaves his brothers, Gerry and his wife, Maureen of Florida and Richard and his wife, Cheryl Raymond of N. Andover, MA. as well as several nieces, nephews and friends and he was predeceased by his son, Sgt Pierre A. Raymond who died serving in Iraq.

David’s family would like to thank the staff and his friends at Hackett Hill Nursing Home for their kind and compassionate care.

Family and friends are invited to calling hours on Friday April 15, 2015 from 11 am to 1 pm at The Goundrey & Dewhirst Funeral Home, 42 Main Street, Salem, NH. Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm on Friday at the funeral home. Entombment will be in Eternal Light Mausoleum, Pond St., Salem, NH.
