Carrol N. Cook (Joe) of Kennebunk, ME passed away peacefully Thursday, December 21st, 2017 surrounded by family.

Born and raised in Athol, MA, Joe bravely served with the United States Air Force for three years and was Honorably discharged in 1952.

Joe enjoyed his family, golf, the love of his dogs, long drives and working with flowers for Creightons Florist in Portland, ME where he retired in 2016.

He was preceded in death by his first wife Marjorie E. (Lawson) Cook, his daughter Sonya L. Cook, his second wife Norma (Harlow) Cook, his parents Hazel and Willard Cook and his brothers Calvin, Douglas, Bradford and Taylor.
Joe is also survived by his children Deborah Burba of Agawam, MA, Joseph Cook of Laconia, NH, Theresa Cook and her husband Jim Conway of Derry, NH and Dean Cook of Agawam, MA, six grandchildren Michael, Matthew, Christopher, Justin, Ashleigh and Whittni, and three great grandchildren Amber, Damien and Jenelle.

A private grave site service will be held at a later date. Arrangements by the Goundrey & Dewhirst Funeral Home in Salem, NH.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to your local SPCA in Joe's memory.
