Beverly A. Pardue

Beverly A. Pardue, age 80, of Hampstead, NH, passed away March 2, 2018.

She was born on February 5, 1938 in South Portland, Maine, to Nellie (Loring) and Thomas Pardue. Beverly graduated from South Portland High School in May 1956. Upon graduation she enlisted and proudly served in the Women’s Army Corps from 1957- 1959 where she was stationed at Governor’s Island, NY.

After her military service she returned home and started as a cord board operator for Bell Telephone and eventually retired as a manager for Verizon after 30 years. In 1999 she moved to Hampstead, NH to be closer to her grandchildren.  She worked for 14 years at the Hampstead Center Market where she was popular with the regulars due to her outgoing and friendly demeanor. 

She was an avid Red Sox fan, never missing a broadcast game and often attended live games at Fenway with her son.  Her greatest joy was her family, especially her two grandchildren. 

Beverly is survived by her son, Kevin L. Pardue and his wife, Mary Ellen Pardue; her two grandchildren Jacob and Lauren of East Hampstead, NH; brother Leroy Pardue of South Portland, ME; extended Myers family; several nieces and nephews and many loving friends.

She is predeceased by her brothers Ronald Pardue of South Portland, ME and Philip Pardue of Manchester, NH.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Beverly's name to the Veterans of Foreign Wars National Headquarters, 406 W. 34th Street, Kansas City, MO 64111.
