Beverly Ann Hall, 79, of Salem, NH, passed away on Tuesday, November 15th at the Parkland Medical Center in Derry, after a brief illness.  Beverly was born in Boston, MA.  She was the beloved wife of the late Lester W. Hall II, who passed away in 2013.

Beverly was the daughter of Frederick and Marion “Wadman” Cook of Nova Scotia.  She attended school and graduated high school in Jamaica Plain, MA.  Beverly began working at Royal & Sun Insurance in 1955 until her retirement in 1998. 

She met her husband, Lester, at Canobie Lake Park and later married on November 2, 1973.  This was a second marriage for both, but with each other, they had found true love.  The two enjoyed traveling all over the world.  Beverly was a member of the Salem Lion’s Club, taking part in many of their events, including being a proud member of the Red Hat Society.  In her free time, she loved knitting, crocheting, reading, and tending to her flowers. 

Beverly will be sadly missed by her children; Richard L Hall and Marian from Concord, NH; Lester W Hall from Litchfield, NH; and Stephen Melito from North Carolina.  She leaves behind her brother Fred “Dexter” Cook, and was pre-deceased by her sister, Isabel Rum.  Beverly was the proud grandmother to Heather Melito-Dezan, Stephen Melito Jr, Christopher Melito, Samantha Hall-Arcidicono, David Hall, and Marissa Hall, as well as several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. 

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, December 3rd from 1:00 to 3:00pm at the Goundrey & Dewhirst Funeral Home, 42 Main Street, Salem, NH 03079, with a service to follow at 3:00pm in the funeral home chapel.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to be made to the Salem Lions Club, P.O.
