Betty J. Lachance, 67, of Contoocook, NH, passed away on September 10th, 2015 at Concord Hospital surrounded by close friends and family.

Betty was born in Haverhill, MA and raised in Lawrence where she attended Lawrence High School. She later moved to NH and lived most of her life in the Salem-Derry area. Betty worked at Pelham Bank & Trust for many years in the early to mid 1990's. She later earned her certificate as a CNA where she worked at Northeast Rehabilitation in Salem, NH, then relocated to HealthSouth in Concord, NH, where she retired.

Betty was an avid collector of Betty Boop memorabilia, liked watching Patriots football, Red Sox baseball, and reality TV shows. She enjoyed taking rides in the Chevy, attending classic car shows, lobster, and loved spending time with her grandson Jacob who shared a mutual love for Peeps marshmallow chicks. Her favorite charity was the ASPCA.

Betty is survived by her daughter Renee Lachance and her fiancé Ron Chirichiello Jr., and grandson Jacob Chirichiello, from Salem NH; daughter Jamie-Lyn Lachance and her boyfriend Brendan Reilly from Manchester, NH; son Raymond Lachance, Jr. from Contoocook, NH and grandson Noah R. Bottino of RI; her live-in companion Rodney Krzyzaniak, and her pet dog Rosie; sisters Carol Larocque and Fernie Larocque, brothers Earl Andrews and Dana Andrews, and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her mother, Palma (Calderone) Andrews; father, Earl Andrews; ex-husband Raymond Lachance; and sister-in-law Judy Andrews.

Family and friends are invited to call Wednesday, September 16th, 2015, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Goundrey & Dewhirst Funeral Home, 42 Main Street, Salem, NH.
