Andrea Pellerin was born in France in 1920 and by her seventh birthday she sailed to America and passed the Statue of Liberty; an image she remembered throughout her life.  Andrea saw tremendous changes in the world; from her childhood home lacking running water and electricity to the popularization of automobiles, the birth of computers and  navigating her own cell phone. She has in one lifetime seen more change than anyone could have ever imagined.

Andrea lived her life with an adventurous spirit, determination and a genuine desire to be with family.  She maintained the positive attitudes, morals and more which define what we now call our greatest generation.

Andrea enjoyed spending her time at the homes she and her husband built in Salem and Laconia. She loved to take care of her gardens and lie in the sun in Florida. She loved to be a grandmother, a great grandmother and then a great-great grandmother.  She lit up with joy and warmth and her light blue eyes would turn glassy and shine with happiness when she was surrounded by her family.

Andrea will be remembered for her amazing strength.  She had the strength to be loving yet stern, sweet yet daunting and shy but courageous.  She had the strength to work through her young life as an immigrant on a chicken farm and she remained strong even when she set out on her own at age 18.  Andrea had the strength to forge unyielding faith to await the return of both her husband and son from World War II and Vietnam and she had the strength to carry on for years without them.

And there was always love.  Behind everything was a woman who loved her family and squeezed us in her powerful grasp.  Now it is our turn to grab on to memories and never let go.  She has joined her loving husband, Armand J Pellerin and son, Gerald A Pellerin with God.

Her loving family, daughter Annmarie Bonin Bouchard, and her husband, Christian Bouchard, daughter-in-law, Dona F Pellerin, Grandchildren, Darleen Adams, Scott Pellerin, Jeffrey Pellerin, Jaime Thames, Kristine Bonin, Matthew Bonin, Jocelyn Bouchard and Renae Bouchard as well as her 10 great grandchildren and 3 great, great grandchildren are left behind.
